Hope Wallace is a self taught artist and designer living outside of Baltimore, . Hope is known for mixing old elements with modern principles to create unique and whimsical designs for her greeting card line, Paper Relics. Her work has been featured in several national magazines, including Mary Engelbreit's Home Companion and Country Living.
Hope also works as a freelance designer, helping small, creative companies develop identities and grow their businesses.".
She aims to live every day embracing her Style Statement, (Nostalgic Creativity), following her heart, and finding balance throughout her life. All of which are reflected in the projects she takes on.

Off to Silver Bella - I will be tweeting from there if I can. No journal update this week - sorry! I have worked a bit in my journal - but I have been busy getting ready for Silver Bella this week, so no time for photos. Here is a sneak peek of a foldout sub-page I am excited to share when I do my next update post...
It is a little late, but I wanted to share an event I went to in DC right before the wedding. Jennifer of Artizen Coaching was in town for a conference and offered a small Dream Box workshop, hosted at Kimberly Wilson's (author of Hip Tranquil Chick) apartment.

I have been following Jenn (below with her camera) on Twitter and her blog, so it was wonderful to meet her in person. I would love to take a full day workshop with her in the future, and would recommend them to everyone. Happy November! I know it is late, but here is a round up of last weeks journaling...
I started off with a clip from a j.crew catalog - I just loved all the pieces and the colors together, and it made me think about style (and how I wished I was a thin as one of their models!!) and how I viewed style, etc. It was interesting to write down my thoughts and assumptions on style. The card that is the sub-page is one I got in Charleston on our honeymoon - not much to do with style, but the right hand side of the spread below is pretty random...

THis spread has an on finished section on the left, but the page was things I want to do in the near future. On the left was a quick spread about our honeymoon in Charleston, SC.
This spread was fun - it recapped the last weekend when I went to Charlotte's event in New York, and stopping on the way home in Maplewood, NJ. Fun Spread to remember fun times!

I am excited, as always, for halloween. Our neighborhood has lots of young kids who dress up in the best costumes. They all look forward to seeing Tuala in her signature ladybug costume, and she goes nuts for the attention. When the doorbell rings she is the first to respond. She hams it up for cameras and loves the kids squealing in delight at the site of her with her silly antennae bouncing around.
